In the same spirit of her hyper-sexualized, adult-film star character in the upcoming "Lovelace," Amanda Seyfried is talking freely about men, and "sexual attraction" in her past relationships.
The starlet, 27, let go of some of her inhibitions and dished on her intimate life to Elle for their August issue, hitting newsstands on July 23. Seyfried spilled some of her darkest secrets.
"Everybody I've dated I've been sexually attracted to immediately," she said. "Sparks don't grow - your [lady part] doesn't become more inclined to wanting someone just because you're around them."
Being around her ex beau, Dominic Cooper, however, did lead her to become "more inclined" to love. "...He'll always be in my life regardless of what his girlfriends and future wife think. I'm never going to be with a guy that can't deal with my friendship with him."
Her new rumored crush will have to deal with her former flame's place in her life. But, right now, she likes a man unfazed by the spotlight.
"[He's] is someone separate from my industry life - I've known him since I was 16...I picture him as the father of my children all the time. But it's a fantasy right now."
Seyfried, who was spotted while flirting with a muscular mystery man recently, knew that taking such a racy role in "Lovelace" was a risk; she hopes it will pay off.
"I read the script and I was like, 'Wow, this is the riskiest thing that is happening [in Hollywood] right now.' The first thing that you think about is that it could have ruined my career. At the same time, I was like, 'This is my chance to show them, the industry, to be recognized.'"
Check out the latest and new trailer for the film arriving in theaters on Aug. 9.
