After one of the most messiest and publicly engrossing breakups, Rihanna and Chris Brown still have respect and love for each other.

According to Hollywood Life, the former hot-and-heavy couple have moved on from each other romantically, but neither harbors negative feelings about the other.

"They're cool," said a source close to the "Don't Think They Know" singer to HL. "The respect is there, and so is the love. It's just squashed now."

However, they are are not on speaking terms, the source added.

"She's doing her tour and he's here," the source explained. "Besides, what's the point? They already said what they had to say to each other way back when."

Recent news has painted Brown as angry when it came to Rihanna, demanding his record company take duets with her off of his upcoming album, "X." At this point, the former twosome are done and don't talk, the insider further explained.

Karrueche Tran is back in the picture, treating Brown, who is facing prison time for recent hit-and-run charges, like a king, reportedly.

HL reported that the petite model is doing "everything she can to make sure he's totally happy, in all departments!" A friend of Brown said she gives "anything he needs and wants" to satisfy him.

"If he's hungry she's going to cook," the friend said to the celebrity site. "He loves her Vietnamese rice that she [whips up.] She [has] mad skills in the kitchen. She treats him like he's her king. I'm telling you it works for them. It may work better than how it worked with him and Rihanna."
