After hiding out from cameras with newborn daughter, North West, Kim Kardashian is opening up about her first days as a new mom.

The 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star, 32, is a "natural mother," with several nurturing instincts, according to US Weekly.  She is settling quite nicely into motherhood after a highly-publicized, difficult pregnancy and premature birth.

"When I walked into see her, Kim was holding the baby," longtime friend and Pussycat Dolls founder, Robin Antin told US. "I said, 'Oh my God. You're a natural.' Kim said, 'I know - it's so weird!"

The magazine reported that Kardashian has really found "her groove" with "Nori," the playful nickname that she and Kanye West gave their little baby girl. Insiders even said they were so suprised at how "intuitive" the reality TV star is with her newborn.

She has already mastered some of the hardest parts of being a new mom.

"Breast-feeding is working for her and she already feels like she has bonded with Nori," one source said.

The beautiful bundle of joy was born on June 15, weighing in at 4 pounds, 15 ounces. Due to being so small, the couple had to wait a week before taking her home from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on June 21.

But they are in baby heaven. "They are both so in love with their little girl," a friend said.

And not only is Kardashian getting the hang of motherhood, she is getting back into the swing of things and to her media-darling life.

She broke her 12-day Twitter silence for her little sister, Khloe's birthday on Thursday.
