Adele took to tweeter posting her joy being nominated for an Oscar, for her hit "Skyfall" in the 'Best Original Song' category.  

The 24 year-old took to twitter posting "Oh my God I feel like Meryl Streep! Thank you," The Columbia Records singer has over 11 million followers and has already gathered 4,061 favorites with supporting re-tweets "Good Luck Adele!! We will all be behind you","I love you Adele," "You'll win for sure my love! Can't wait to see you onstage at Oscar!"

The British born singer has been nominated by the Academy for Music: Best Original Song Category, for "Skyfall," in the James Bond film, which also happens to be the first ward for the Bond franchise in more than thirty years, according to Telegraph.

Adele with "Skyfall,"  will compete with other nominees including: "Before My Time" from Chasing Ice by J. Ralph, "Everybody Needs A best Friend" from Ted by Walter Murphy, "Pi's  Lullaby" from Life of Pi by Mychael Danna, and "Suddenly" from Les Misérables by Claude-Michel Schönber. Unfortunately, actors Daniel Craig, Dame Judi Dench and director Sam Mendes were all Oscar snubbed.  

The "21" album singer is not only a nominee but a performer for the 85th Academy Awards, of February 24th. Adele will make her first appearance since the birth of her son in October, slated to present  at 70th Golden Globe Awards on January 13th 2013.
