There is going to be a new addition to the limelight hungry Kardashian family as Kim Kardashian is pregnant with Kanye West's baby. The reality star is about 12 weeks pregnant and is expecting her first child in 2013, reports E!Online.

Since West's announcement during his recent concert, Twitter has been abuzz with the family expressing their joy as well as fans congratulating the couple.

Khloe took to Twitter to express her delight tweeting, "KIMYE." After confusing her followers for some time she explained "I'm excited for Kanye and my sister! There's nothing like bringing life into this world! Let's keep Gods blessings coming!"

Even Kourtney couldn't contain her excitement and tweeted, "Been wanting to shout from the rooftops with joy and now I can! Another angel to welcome to our family. Overwhelmed with excitement!"

This is probably what Kim meant when she recently spoke about her excitement for the New Year saying that there was much more to look forward to in 2013.

This is the first child for the controversial reality star who was earlier married to NBA player Kris Humphries. The former couple split in just 72 days and their divorce is yet to be finalized. On the other hand, Kardashian's rapper boyfriend was engaged to designer Alexis Phifer for 18-months before splitting in 2008. This is West's first child too.

Looks like the Kardashian household will be abuzz with kids as Kourtney already has two children, Mason and Penelope with Scott Disick.

The mother-to-be is often seen doting on Mason and Penelope and taking them for walks. She also frequently posts pictures of her niece and nephew on her blog and seems to adore them. Come 2013 and there will be more pictures on her blog as well as a new member in the Kardashian family's holiday postcard.
