Trust Kim Kardashian to make headlines with her quirky and sometimes bizarre style. She has done it again- with fake bangs. How do we know it's fake? Because she admitted it. After creating frenzy among fans that couldn't stop talking about Kardashian's new hairstyle, the 32-year-old revealed on her blog that they were fake.

"I saw a few of you tweeting me about my bangs!! The bangs are fake! Just clip ons! I had a fun Cosmo cover shoot yesterday and Chris McMillan clipped these on!" she stated.

Earlier the reality star had posted a picture which showed her getting a haircut from stylist McMillan with a caption, "Fun shoot today @mrchrismcmillan He just can't control his scissor hands! #bangs." Due to these pictures it was assumed that she was getting a new hairstyle.

The reality star was seen embarking a plane at the LAX airport Dec. 18 and stunned onlookers with her hair. And we've got to say that the bangs did suit her. Perfectly framing her triangular face, the bangs brought a soft and feminine twist to her forehead.

This was probably her way of drawing back the attention of fans who have been raving about Kardashian's half sister Kendall Jenner after the Miss Vogue photo shoot. Not just that,Jenner also stole the limelight away from the Kardashian sisters in the family Christmas card shoot.

While the picture is cheerful and festive, you stop noticing the others as soon as you see Jenner in a white dress and skyscraper heels flaunting her long slender legs.

The family picture also marks the first card appearance of Kourtney's little girl Penelope, born in July 2012.

Also gracing the photo is Kim's cat Mercy who died earlier this month due to stomach cancer.
