The Ford's limited edition Smart ForJeremy debut in LA Auto Show with art deco themes in white leather swath interior with dominating steering wheel and custom chrome trimmings.

'Cooperations with fashion designers are normally limited to selecting interior materials and interior and exterior color schemes. with Jermey Scott we wanted to go one step further and integrated the typical wings as a central design element in the vehicle body.' said Gorden Wagener head of Mercedes-Benz and smart design.

The limited edition Ford's electric car features unique ForJeremy wings, trademark of the American designer with rear wings that light up.

"For me, wings mean freedom, a sense of weightlessness. Because of this, i definitely wanted to have them for the smart electric drive in order to convey the way it frees the environment of noxious emissions and symbolizes the new lightness of mobility," said Jeremy Scott.

Mercedes-Benz designers and Jeremy Scott developed the Ford "Smart" for 8 month in the Advanced Design Studios in Carlsbad California, with Jeremy giving a wide variety of his unique designer input.

"We were totally enthusiastic about the first sketches that Jeremy presented to us", said Dr. Annette Winkler, Head of smart, during the world premiere. "Both smart and the wings represent a bit of freedom on the crowded streets of major cities.

The Smart forJeremy comes with 55kW electric motor with 0-60 km/h in 4.8 seconds and can drive up to 125 km/h maximum speed. The two seater can travel around 145 kilometers in city traffic without producing emissions.
