Duane Street Hotel is scheduled to host a Fashion Bloggers Lounge from Sept. 6 to 13 according to a press release. The weeklong event co-hosted by Bloggers Night Out, is for fashion and beauty bloggers to celebrate the New York Fashion Week.

Acknowledging the power of social media and blogging, the Fashion Bloggers Lounge will provide its guests an opportunity to work, hold meetings and attend presentations by industry experts.

Speaking about the event, Nicolas Daeppen, general manager of the Duane Street Hotel said, “We want the fashion community to familiarize themselves with Duane Street Hotel and view us as a space where they feel at home to work, play and enjoy Tribeca. New York Fashion Week is the perfect time to show our support for emerging artists in the world of fashion. From the well-established influencers to the newbie blogger, blogging is an exciting form of creative expression and everyone has an exciting and fresh point of view”.

In addition, guests are also eligible to receive a certificate for a free make-up touch-up by Pas de Deux Salon in Tribeca, complimentary beverages from Perrier and treats by renowned Chef Jehangir Mehta a contender on Food Network’s “The Next Iron Chef”.

“From the Lucky FABB conference to the Independent Fashion Blogger (IFB) conference, so many bloggers are traveling to New York for multiple events taking place in the city geared towards them specifically”, said Caitlin Moran, Bloggers Night Out co-founder.

Moran also added, “Partnering with a great boutique hotel like Duane Street for fashion bloggers was a clear choice for us so that bloggers could have a place they could call home during Fashion Week.”

Bloggers Night Out is an event company that creates and manages events for the blogging community connecting bloggers and providing networking opportunities.

The first event held in Sept. 2011 attracted about 450 bloggers who were able to network among themselves and noted industry experts.
