Beauty is pain for the award-winning rapper Cardi B, but it was all worth it.

The "WAP" singer was stunningly gorgeous as she graced the cover of Interview magazine's March issue.

The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, looked like a sultry superhero as she wore nothing but golden Balenciaga thigh-high boots, her long signature nails, and massive hair.

Over her Instagram, the mother-of-one gave her fans a glimpse during the behind-the-scenes of her hair and makeup process.

In the video, she was all glammed up, courtesy of celebrity makeup artist Erika La' Pearl.

As for Cardi B's hairstylist, Tokyo Stylez was spotted pilling up layers and layers of wigs to the singer's head.

Looking unfazed by the whole scenario, the Grammy winner was entertaining herself by singing, texting, and counting all the wigs.

Interestingly, to achieve Cardi B's hairstyle, her glam team ended up having a total of six wigs.

"This was 6 WIGS IN ONE !!!! This was six wigs together. @tokyostylez, you did that. Sooo nope, we didn't use 30 bundles we used six wigs," she wrote, followed by a laughing emoji.

Cardi B Gets Interviewed by Mariah Carey

Aside from her heart-stopping cover, she also had a one-on-one chat with Mariah Carey for the publication.

During the interview, the award-winning rapper spoke about her personal life and growing up in the Bronx.

Despite her outspoken personality and accolade of achievements, the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker revealed that there was a time when she felt super insecure about her body.

"I'm Trini, and I'm Dominican, and there's a lot of Dominicans that look a certain type of way," she mentioned, adding, They have soft, pretty, curly hair."

The same goes with her teenage years in the Bronx, where young guys would criticize girls about having small bums and flat chests. She then admitted that it made her "feel so ugly and undeveloped."

Cardi B's Plastic Surgery Journey

Her insecurities have prompted her to go under the knife and get cosmetic enhancement.

The "I Like It" rapper was vocal about her previous work as a stripper. Then 18-year-old Belcalis saved up money so she could fund her boob job.

Cardi B's plastic surgery streams to her self-doubt and feeling unhappy about herself.

"Every insecurity that I felt about my breasts was gone. "When I was 20, I went to the urban strip club, and in the urban strip clubs, you had to have a big butt. So I felt insecure about that. It took me back to high school. So I got my ass done. And then I felt super confident," she recalled.

The New York native has always been honest about going under the knife.

Back in 2019, she told Entertainment Tonight that she had liposuction after giving birth to her daughter, Kulture.

At the time, she shared that the pain from the procedure is the same as giving birth.

Aside from her liposuction, she also admitted to having her breasts redone to make her feel good since a lot has changed since she gave birth.
