Jessica Simpson On Her Skincare Routine and EczemaCredit : jessicasimpson/Instagram

It's hard to believe Jessica Simpson in now 40. The chart-topping singer-turned-entrepreneur has a successful clothing and footwear brand and is a mom of three but looks as youthful as ever. A quick browse through her Instagram page will show followers that Simpson doesn't hesitate in posting makeup-free selfies. As she tells Refinery29, she's been embracing her natural beauty and her flaws. Below, Simpson shares her skincare routine, beauty staples and how she deals with her eczema flare ups.

Facial Cleanser

Prevention shares that Simpson uses celebrity-favorite Epicuren Herbal Cleanser to wash her face every day. It's a gel formula that's suitable for all skin types. Simpson says it removes her makeup completely. The cleanser is also oil-free, paraben-free, and sulfate-free. Kate Bosworth and Alicia Keys are also big fans of the brand.

Moisturizer

Simpson is a fan of the pricey La Mer Moisturizing Cream and says it was the only moisturizer that helped her dehydrated skin when she was pregnant. For daily use, she prefers the more lightweight La Mer Moisturizing Soft Lotion. She also uses Sonya Dakar Organic Omega Oil to moisturize her extra dry skin when travelling. Gwyneth Paltrow is another celebrity fan of this facial oil. Simpson also loves Sonya Dakar Nano Hydrator which uses under her makeup.

Eye Cream

Simpson mentions that she's been using eye cream since she entered the music industry at 17. While she hasn't specified a brand, Allure recommends these budget-friendly options: L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Hydra-Nutrition Manuka Honey Eye Gel, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Gel-Cream, Olay Eyes Brightening Eye Cream, La Roche-Posay Pigmentclar Eyes, and RoC Retinol Correxion Sensitive Eye Cream.

Peptide Serum

Simpson writes in her blog that Epicuren Discovery Bio Peptide Serum is a life saver. She says that this serum plumps up her skin and adds that she still doesn't have wrinkles after having her kids so it "must be working!"

Eczema Go-To

In a phone interview with Refinery29, Simpson shares that she's had eczema since she was a child and was constantly wearing long-sleeved tops and hoarding over-the-counter eczema creams. Aquaphor is one of her go-to products for mild eczema patches, chapped lips, and dry skin. She has also partnered with pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and is the face of their steroid and paraben-free eczema ointment, Eucrisa.

Hair Care

Simpson is known for her lush blonde locks and she maintains her natural blonde hair with Rita Hazan Weekly Remedy Treatment and uses Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray for those no-shampoo days. She's also a fan of Milbon Inphenom Hair Treatment which she's been using for years to treat her processed hair.

Body Care

Simpson is a loyal Epicuren user, and her long-time favorite body lotion is Epicuren Kukui Coconut After Bath Moisturizer. It's perfect for those days when you don't use fragrance but would still like to smell great. Speaking of fragrances, Simpson has her own fragrance line and her top pick is Fancy Love.
