Katherine Jenkins finally breaks her silence over the comments made by former football sensation David Beckham who allegedly labeled her has a 'f**king joke' for becoming OBE in one of his private emails. The classical singer revealed that she was quite hurt when she learned about the cruel comment by Beckham, who believed she didn't actually deserve the honor.

In an interview with The Sun Fabulous magazine, the 36-year-old singer talked about the leaked emails of the 41-year-old former footballer, one of which stated,"Singing at the rugby and going to see the troops plus taking coke. F**king joke." The abusing emails, which was sent to his long-term agent Simon Oliveira, are believed to be the result of Beckham's anger for not being awarded 'Sir David' title, which later branded the honor committee as a 'bunch of c**ts'.

"I am a human being. Of course, something like that would be painful," said Jenkins who did coke in her college days. According to the Mirrors, the singer retaliated strongly and went on to say the disgraced football star knows nothing about her. "I've learned that when you become famous, sometimes you get dragged into things you are not involved in. Sometimes people think they know you, but the fact is they actually don't," said Jennifer.

As reported by the Express, Jenkins comment arrived weeks after the emails were hacked and released. Katherine was awarded the Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2014 for her contribution in the fields of music and charitable work. The manager of the Welsh singer reportedly shared a detailed fact sheet, showing why Jennifer was honored with OBE.

"We aren't issuing any statement, just providing some facts as to why Katherine Jenkins received the award for her services to music and charity in response to Beckham," said the representative. He also addressed that she sure took cocain in her early 20's, which she courageously admitted in public with honesty. "It was long before she becomes a singer and visited troops in Iraq, Afghanistan, Cyprus and Kosovo," the rep added.
