Tom Hiddleston, most popularly known for his portrayal of an evil god, Loki in the Hollywood blockbuster "The Avengers" is now fed up with media questions about his private life that includes singer Taylor Swift. The 36-year-old actor, who recently appeared in "Today Show" showed her annoyance when asked about his short-lived romance with the 27-year-old last year.

"What was it like to be in the public that way?" asked the interviewer to Hiddleston. To which, he awkwardly chuckled and after a long pause, he said he make a clear distinction between his work, which he dedicate himself entirely for the sake of the public, reports Fox News. "You can't call yourself an actor without the audience relationship. And my private life is Private," said "The Night Manager" star.

According to the Mirror, "The Kong: Skull Island" actor and "Love Story" singer shared a well talked about relationship last year before splitting up after 3 months. And since then, the media had been eagerly asking the star about their relationship for the past couple of months, which now seems to irritate him greatly.

Earlier, in an exclusive interview with GQ magazine, Tom stated that he has high regard for the singer. "She is an amazing woman. She's very generous, lovely and kind, and we spent the best time together," he added. The actor appeared more annoyed with an interview with The Telegraph, where he was asked if he regretted the publicity and gossip about their romance.

"What is there to regret, in your mind?", he replied. "I would rather not talk about it, if that's okay." He later added that he wishes to keep his private life private. "My work is in the public sphere and I also have a private life, which I don't want to mix up," said Hiddleston.
