Karrueche Tran is reportedly more open to the idea of getting back together with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown despite breaking up with the "Loyal" singer after learning that he is the biological father of nearly one-year-old daughter Royalty, however, sources insist that while the young model is considering a romance with her ex, she will never want to be considered Royalty's "mother figure."

Hollywood Life reports that while Tran and Brown may be working things out within their relationship, sources close to Tran reveal that the model is skeptical about getting to know Royalty for fear of having a conflict with Royalty's mother.

"Karrueche already knows that being Royalty's stepmother would be bad. Karrueche doesn't want any problems with Nia. If she were to get back with Chris, she'd feel she'd be walking on eggshells. Chris is really asking a lot of Karrueche. This is a giant mess altogether and she's not so sure she's up for this," the source confirms.

The insider adds, "At the end of the day, she doesn't want to step on Royalty's mother's heels. She doesn't want her to feel like she's trying to come in and be her baby's mother," the insider confirms. "She can see Nia not wanting her to be around Royalty in fear that she may become attached to Kae. She can even hear arguments between her and Chris over how to raise her."

The source also adds that while she's happy to see Brown take on his fatherly role over the baby girl, Tran is still disappointed that she and Brown never made it to having children of their own.

"Karrueche does think the baby is beautiful and shares so many of Chris' features. It still bothers Karrueche that Chris has a child, especially a daughter, and Karrueche didn't give her life," the source concludes.

While previous reports suggested that Tran is proud of Brown for being such a good dad, the model is still insistent that she and Brown have a long way to go before they can reconcile.

Do you think Karrueche Tran and Chris Brown will get back together eventually, or will daughter Royalty come between them?
