Universal Pictures has released the first official trailer for its comedy film "Ted 2" and it's all about the trash-talking teddy and his quest for humanity, or something of the sort, Slate reported.
The official trailer was posted by Universal on Thursday and viewers got a glimpse of Seth McFarlane as Ted and Mark Wahlberg as John in another one of their adventures.
"Happily ever after only exists in fairy tales, yet a talking teddy bear is about to marry his girlfriend," the trailer says.
As it turns out, Ted has found the love of his life and has married the blonde reproductive device Tami-Lynn, played by Jessica Barth. With a new wife and a new life, all that's missing for Ted is a baby. With the help of his best friend John's sperm and his wife's sentient womb, Ted seems set to start building his family.
The teddy bear's plans aren't going to go as he had hoped though when he and Tami-Lynn find out that Ted needs to be considered a person in the eyes of the law if he wants the state to allow him and his wife to have a child. So off Ted goes to try and prove he is indeed a person under all the stuffing and bear parts.
The trailer shows Ted and John getting into trouble like knocking over a shelf of ejaculate at the sperm bank. It also features the new people they'll meet along the way, according to Variety.
Lori, played by Mila Kunis, has moved on from John, who has found a new lady love in the person of Ted's new lawyer, Samantha Jackson, played by Amanda Seyfried. Morgan Freeman is also making a cameo.
"Ted 2" is to hit theaters on June 26, 2015 to high expectations, especially given the first film's $549 million haul.
