Jimmy Fallon and wife Nancy Juvonen ends the year with a bonus--the arrival of their second baby on Wednesday, the couple's rep confirmed to People.
It's another girl for Fallon named Frances Cole, and through a statement from Fallon's rep, the "Tonight Show" host openly confirmed that their second daughter is born through a surrogate.
"Frances Cole Fallon officially entered the world at 8:45 a.m. on Dec. 3, weighing 5 lbs., 11 oz. and is 18.5 inches long," stated Fallon's rep.
"Their new addition joins big sister, Winnie Rose, [16 months]. The couple opted to keep their baby joy to themselves until their new daughter made her official debut. Both Fallon babies were born via surrogate," added the statement.
Fallon, 40 and his wife, 47 had their first child in July 2013 also via surrogate. The two met in the set of "Fever Pitch" with Fallon starring alongside Drew Barrymore. Juvonen runs production company Flower Films with Barrymore.
In an interview in the "Today" show last year, Fallon revealed that they used a surrogate for their first child.
"My wife and I had been trying a while to have a baby," Fallon told Guthrie. "We tried a bunch of things - so we had a surrogate," Fallon told in the interview.
"We said, 'We're not going to tell anybody. It'd be just more fun if it's just private between me and my wife. And then we get to introduce her to everybody," Fallon added.
A second time dad, Fallon gushed about his child and his daddy experiences in most of the episodes of "The Tonight Show". Three weeks ago, Fallon interviewed Barrymore in his late-night show and they adorably talked about their daughters who they say are pals.
"Our babies play with each other," Fallon said. "That's true," Barrymore answered. Fallon also added, "They're pals." Fallon showed photos of the two babies playing together.
2014 is definitely Fallon's year. He started hosting "The Tonight Show" on February. He also got to write his first baby book, "Your Baby's First Word Will Be Dada" and he is Entertainment Weekly's cover for this week with Fallon as the Entertainer of the Year.
