MTV reality star Ryan Knight has died at the age of 29, according to TMZ.

Knight, who appeared in MTV's "The Real World New Orleans," was reportedly found lifeless by friends Thursday morning. The star's cause of death has not been revealed but a couple of friends claimed that he had taken "some pills" while partying the night before he was found dead.

Knight's death was confirmed by on-again/off-again girlfriend and "Real World" co-star Jemmye Carroll, the Hollywood Life says.

Carroll took to Twitter to share the sad news. She posted a collage of their pictures together and captioned it, "Words will neer be enough to justify the connection we shared and the pain I will forever feel. RIP @Knight_MTV."

Friends of the late star mourned on social media.

"Real World Sydney" star Cohutta Grindstaff posted a photo of him with Knight and their other friends on Instagram. The photo was captioned: "Ryan Knight was a person of pure heart and it will be 100% impossible to ever forget him. If you knew him you'll understand...You will be missed my friend."

Knight's bunkmate on the MTV reality series Jasmine Reynaud also took to Instagram to share a message about his friend's passing.

Reynaud posted a photo of the late star and captioned it: "Bunkmate, you've always been there threw laughs cry craziness and cell searches lol! [sic] Thank you for being my friend. My heart is so broken to lose you. I will always keep the crazy voicemails you left to me!"

Ashlee Feldman took to Twitter to share her sadness over the loss, saying: "Lost my friend and my roommate today. My heart aches and Thanksgiving will never be the same. I love you @Knight_MTV ... I'll miss you Ryan."

Knight's passing comes weeks after fellow MTV "Real World" alum Diem Brown died after a third battle with cancer.
