TV Land revealed Monday that the sixth season of "Hot In Cleveland" will be the show's final season, The Los Angeles Times reported.
"Hot In Cleveland" tells the story of a trio of women who were entertainment veterans. The trio decided to leave Los Angeles, but their plane ended up making an emergency landing at Cleveland, Ohio where the trio decided to live.
The show stars Valerie Bertinelli as Melanie Moretti, a writer and mother of college kids; Jane Leeves, as Joy Scroggs, a beautician; Wendie Malick as Victoria Chase, an Emmy-winning soap opera star who has been divorced six times; and Betty White, as Elka Ostrovsky, their Polish caretaker.
TV Land's President Larry W. Jones announced the show's cancellation and released a statement.
"It's been an honor to work with Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and the incomparable Betty White," he said. "The passion and talent they brought to the set each and every week over the past five years has put TV Land on the map as a network dedicated to quality original programming."
In celebration of its final season and its last few episodes, the sitcom is giving White, 92, an onscreen liplock scene with guest star, Robert Wagner, according to exclusive pictures made available to PEOPLE.
In the pictures, White could be seen enjoying a steamy kiss with Wagner. Wagner is set to play Jim, a guy whom White's character, Elka, set her sights on when she first saw him at a local bar.
TV Land was known for airing repeats of classic sitcoms, such as "The Bob Newhart Show" and "The Cosby Show," before finding success in its first original program, "Hot In Cleveland." The show amassed 2.4 million total viewers according to Nielsen.
"Hot In Cleveland" aired its 100th episode in September. Its sixth and final season debuted on Nov. 5. The show airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on TV Land.
