Valerie Bertinelli has clarified that she never had a feud with Christina Aguilera, but she claimed that that the singer gave her the big brush-off when they met backstage at a Van Halen concert several years ago.

"I didn't have a feud with her," Bertinelli, 54, told Andy Cohen on "Watch What Happens Live," Wednesday, Nov. 5, according to E! News.

"I was a fan at that time, a long time ago, and I went up to her because she was at a Van Halen concert, and I said, 'Oh my God, I think you're a beautiful singer, blah blah blah,'" Bertinelli recalled. "And she just went like [she made an over-her-head motion], 'Yeah, whatever.'"

Bertinelli, who won two Golden Globes for her role as Barbara Cooper on the hit CBS sitcom "One Day at a Time," added that she was put off by the chilly reception the "The Voice" coach gave her.

"She gave me the cold shoulder," Bertinelli claimed. "And I thought, 'Bitch, I'm a fan. You can't be nice to me?' You know?"

Bertinelli added that she has not seen Aguilera since then. "She might have gotten better-but I heard she hasn't," said the "Touched by an Angel" alum.

This is not the first time Bertinelli has shared this story with the public. "I met her, and she was so mean to me," Bertinelli said of Aguilera at a radio interview back in 2008, according to Us Weekly. "And I thought, 'You know what? Forget you! I don't need your new album!' What's up with that? She's too young to be blowing people off."

Meanwhile, "The Voice" host Carson Daly announced on Oct. 14 on the "Today" show that Aguilera is returning to the hit NBC reality TV singing competition for its eight season, which will premiere early in 2015.

However, Aguilera's comeback has reportedly caused a "rift," because Gwen Stefani was hoping to stay for the upcoming season. "It's become a point of contention with everyone on the show," a source told Page Six.

"When Gwen took over, she instantly became a favorite and bonded" with the others, the tipster added. "She injected energy and humor onto the panel."
