Taylor Swift has had a handful of failed relationships in the past and the "Red" singer has finally opened up on why she's given up on men in general.

In a recent interview with US Weekly, Swift explained her frustration over the fact that her failed relationships are discussed more than her sold-out concerts.

"It broke my heart! I was selling out stadiums and it was all people talked about," she explained.

A week after the release of her fifth studio album, "1989," Swift enjoyed a massive following with approximately 1.28 million copies sold. As a result, the "Shake It Off" singer can now say that people are once again noticing her for her talent and not her breakups.

"Now people talk less about the things that don't matter," she explained.

As of late, "1989" remains number one on the Billboard 200 charts for the second week. It is also projected to stay number one for the upcoming third week, TIME reported.

Swift also discussed some of the tracks in her latest album, including, "How You Get the Girl," which she dubs as an instruction manual for men, ET Online noted.

"It's written for a guy who has broken up with his girlfriend, then wants her back after six months. But it's not going to be as simple as sending a text like, 'Sup? Miss you.' That won't work. You need to do all the things I say."

Meanwhile, Swift has been single for an entire year after she ended her relationship with One Direction member Harry Styles back in 2013.

In other news, Swift explained that she does not have any female role models during an interview with TIME.

"We're taught to find examples for the way we want our lives to wind up. But I can't find anyone, really, who's had the same career trajectory as mine," she stressed.
