Jennifer Lopez has recently reacted to the engagement of her ex-husband Marc Anthony to his model girlfriend Shannon De Lima.

"I'm happy for him," Lopez told the New York Daily News Thursday, Nov.6, as reported by Daily Mail.

The 45-year-old actress-singer, who is currently busy promoting her new book "True Love," told the newspaper that she will also eventually meet the love of her life.

"I am totally single. It's not going to be forever. Someone great will come along," the "American Idol" judge said.

Last week, Us Weekly broke the news that Anthony is already engaged to De Lima.

A source told the publication that the two are set to tie the knot in the middle of this month in Dominican Republic.

Anthony, 46, who was married to Lopez for seven years, has been dating De Lima on and off since 2012. The tipster added that the "My Baby You" crooner popped the question to the model back in March.

On March 15, De Lima took to her Instagram page and posted a photo of her with Anthony, in which she is seen wearing  a giant diamond engagement band on her ring finger. The caption, which is written in Spanish, translates to, "With my beautiful man. It's why I love him," according to Page Six.

Anthony and Lopez tied the knot in 2004, but ended their marriage in 2011, with Anthony filing for divorce the following year. The two singers are co-parenting their 6-year-old twins Max and Emme.

In "True Love," Lopez revealed that her twins were one of the reasons why she decided to end her marriage to Anthony.

"We sat down together," the "Maid in Manhattan" star wrote, as quoted by Huffington Post. "[And I told him] 'This is not working. You know it's not working. We're not living like a family, and I don't see how things are going to change. Neither of us is happy, and the kids are wondering what's going on. I think we should move on with our lives.'"

"Deep down, I still wanted him to put up a fight for our family," Lopez added. "But instead, he said, 'Okay.' On July 15, 2011, we made the public announcement that we were going to divorce. Hardest. Day. Ever."
