Megan Fox was one sexy vampire on the set of James Franco's new directorial project "Zeroville."

The 28-year-old actress looks very seductive in an on-set photo posted by Franco on Instagram Thursday, Nov. 6. In the literally bloody image, the "Transformers" actress shows off her sexy figure splashed with fake blood in just her black lingerie. The photo also shows Franco standing between Fox and a topless blonde actress, who was also covered with blood.

"Vampyros Lesbos," Franco, who plays the lead character in the film, captioned the snap.

This is not the first time the Oscar-nominated actor shared a picture of Fox on Instagram while filming the comedy-drama . In another photo posted by the "127 Hours" actor on the image-sharing site late last month, he is seen rocking a bald head and full mustache while Fox wore a bloody white dress and a feather boa. "Megan Foxy is the best!" he captioned the pic.

"Zeroville" is based on Steve Erickson's 2007 novel of the same name that follows the story of Ike "Vikar" Jerome (Franco), a 24-year-old scholar who arrives in Hollywood in 1969 with the goal of breaking into the movie industry that is currently in the middle of a seismic shift as the fall of major studios results in the ascension of independent directors. Jerome eventually becomes a successful film editor, but the achievement of his dream is a journey that ends in both tragedy and discovery, according to Variety.

Fox is playing Jerome's romantic interest, a Hollywood starlet with a difficult history, according Daily Mail.

In September, Franco used his Visionary Award ceremony at the Venice International Film Festival to film a scene for "Zeroville."

Before the real ceremony started, the phrase "35th: 1977 Venice Film Festival" was flashed on the event's screen prompting festival director Alberto Barbera start acting his role for the said upcoming movie. Speaking in Italian, Barbera said that he was awarding a special jury prize to celebrate an incredible contribution to the art of editing to Franco's "Zeroville" character, The Hollywood Reporter reported.

After two takes, the 36-year-old Golden Globe-winning actor informed the crowds of their cameo. Standing on the Lido to accept his Jaeger-LeCoulture Glory to the Filmmaker 2014 prize, Franco said:  "It's a little movie we're doing. Maybe we'll show it here in Venice next year," according to EntertainmentWise.

"Zeroville" also stars Seth Rogen, Danny McBride, Horatio Sanz, Craig Robinson, Joey King and Franco's younger brother, Dave.
