After being diagnosed with bronchitis and sinusitis, Tori Spelling - actress and author - shared a photo of her in a hospital Oct. 23 without her husband Dean McDermott by her side, Ace Showbiz reported.

Spelling's picture showed herself wearing a hospital gown, medical bands and a pair of glasses.

"This sick in hospital I finally see how quickly life can take it all away [from] you," she captioned the snap.

"We all need [to] step up frm inside& go [for] it! W/our friends by our side," added the "True Tori" reality star.

Spelling said she has come into terms with the reality that the one person she expected to be there for her will never be around at such a time in her life.

Spelling was referring to her husband, Dean McDermott, whom she admitted to have cheated on her immediately after a therapy session wherein they both agreed for the latter to receive a vasectomy to stop her from getting pregnant, Radar Online reported.

The 41-year-old television actress revealed that before her husband committed the offense, she was hesitant to let him go through the procedure.

However, upon learning of McDermott's extra-marital affair, Spelling said she wanted the vasectomy done on her husband more than ever.

"Because of what I went through, I know I don't want any more babies with him," Spelling said.

McDermott was offended by Spelling's decision in the interview, as he was silent while his wife spoke in tears, Radar Online noted.

Dr. Ann Wexler, the couple's therapist, was apprehensive that Spelling may have just been forced to agree to the procedure because of her experience with her husband, according to Mail Online.

"That's kind of a big statement you're making," Dr. Wexler said. "It's really something to say that because of all the struggles you've had you're not willing to have another child with him. It's a really big deal."

Spelling described her decision as a consequence of McDermott's actions.
