Joe King and Candice Accola are now husband and wife!

The 34-year-old The Fray's guitarist and the 27-year-old actress, who plays Caroline Forbes on The CW series "The Vampire Diaries," tied the knot Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Montegut House in New Orleans.

Accola, who walked down the aisle to music by Trombone Shorty, wore a Monique Lhullier dress for the French Quarter-themed wedding, while King wore a Tom Ford tux.

"Officially Mr. And Mrs. King! Best night ever!" Accola wrote on Instagram, along with a black and white photo of herself being kissed by King.

King also took to the photo-sharing site to post  a snap of himself with his bride dancing. "My wife, she makes me wanna dance," he captioned the pic.

After the wedding ceremony, the newlyweds kicked off the celebration with a second line parade in the streets of New Orleans, including the famous Bourbon Street, leading guests to the reception. Accola carried a white parasol as she, King and their guests danced through the city, E! News reported.

Nina Dobrev, who plays Elena Gilbert on "The Vampire Diaries," attended the wedding, along with co-stars Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore), Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett), Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood), Claire Holt, (Rebekah) and Kayla Ewell, (Vicki Donovan), who served as a bridesmaid.

Ian Somerhalder, who plays Stefan's brother Damon Salvatore, was not able to attend the wedding due to work commitments, but did share a touching message for the bride and groom on Instagram.

"Candace and Joe- my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you. From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit!" he wrote Saturday, alongside a photo of himself on set. "I am missing my home state of Louisiana and my city, the great city of New Orleans. Sending you so much love from my shoot in ATL- i'm working hard & I wish I could be there physically, but we have the rest of our lives to celebrate. I love you guys! So. Much."

King popped the question to Accola in Florence, Italy in May 2013.

"The engagement was a complete surprise," Accola told Us Weekly while attending Midori's Happy Hour Style Event at The London in West Hollywood that June. "It was perfect and special and just for us."

King and Accola first met at a Super Bowl event, and Dobrev was one of the reasons why they ended up together.

"I was too chicken to give him my number, so Nina did," Accola told People in June 2013 of their first meeting.

This is the first marriage for Accola and the second for King. The musician was married in 1999, when he was 19 years old. He and his first wife have since divorced, but have two daughters together, Ava and Elise.
