Nick Cannon has said that Amber Rose is going to shock a lot of people.

A rep for Cannon confirmed to E! News last month that Rose is a client under the comedian's NCredible Entertainment Management Team. And just this Tuesday, Oct. 14, the 34-year-old "America's Got Talent" host opened up about how excited he was managing Rose.

"We're super excited about her brand," Cannon told Us Weekly at Samsung's #DITCHtheDSLR Day Comes to Hollywood and Highland. "I feel like she's one of those people who are truly an icon when it comes to fashion, style, and even just someone in pop culture. I want to help her develop a lot of things and the first thing we are starting with is a book. We just did a huge book deal that we are really excited about."

Cannon, who has been rumored to have separated from his wife Mariah Carey, only had good words about Rose, who  recently filed for divorce from husband Wiz Khalifa. Cannon called her "super intelligent" and "ready and willing as a business woman" to take on the entertainment industry.

"We kind of came up with a lot of the concepts together, but it's going to be something where I think it's going to shock a lot of people," revealed the rapper. "I think it's going to be really good for her brand and launch. My plan is to [begin with] the book then television, and so many other things. You'll see, it will be out soon!"

Rose has a deal to star in a fashion-related TV series, which is "not a bash-this-woman type show" but "more about female empowerment," according to TMZ.

Cannon and Rose's partnership might come as a surprise to many, but the two celebrities had actually worked together before. Rose made an appearance in the 2014 comedy-drama musical film "School Dance," which is directed, written and produced by Cannon.

In July, Rose opened up about how she got involved with the film.

"Nick Cannon approached me to come and do a cameo for his movie," she told The Source. "I went to his office and I sat down with him and I was just like, 'Nick, Look! I would really really like to have a part in this movie, if you could write me in somehow or just give me a role,' and that's exactly what he did."

"So, it was just really cool," she added. "Me and Nick are good friends. Just being on set with all of those comedians was just hilarious. We laughed until we cried every day."
