Nick Cannon is indeed managing Amber Rose!
Today, Sept. 18, New York Post reported that the "America's Got Talent" host was going to manage the 30-year-old model through his management company, NCredible Entertainment.
The news was later confirmed by Cannon's rep to E! News, saying, "Amber Rose is indeed a client under Nick's NCredible Entertainment Management Team."
The partnership between Cannon and Rose is reportedly new.
Sources told New York Post that Rose, who was once signed to Ford Models and recorded a single in 2012, flew to New York to take a meeting with the comedian Thursday, Sept. 11.
Cannon is said to have already secured two high profile projects for Rose, who is Kanye West's ex-girlfriend and is now married, with a kid, to rapper Wiz Khalifa.
Rose has a deal to star in a fashion-related TV series, which is "not a bash-this-woman type show" but "more about female empowerment," according to TMZ.
In addition, she will reportedly release a book in the upcoming future.
Cannon and Rose's partnership might come as a surprise to many, but the two celebrities had actually worked together before. Rose made an appearance in the 2014 comedy-drama musical film "School Dance," which is directed, written and produced by Cannon.
In July, Rose opened up about how she got involved with the film.
"Nick Cannon approached me to come and do a cameo for his movie," she told The Source. "I went to his office and I sat down with him and I was just like, 'Nick, Look! I would really really like to have a part in this movie, if you could write me in somehow or just give me a role,' and that's exactly what he did."
"So, it was just really cool," she added. "Me and Nick are good friends. Just being on set with all of those comedians was just hilarious. We laughed until we cried every day."
