Zoe Saldana has confirmed in the cutest way that she and husband Marco Perego are expecting twins!

Speaking to E! News Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the opening of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Hollywood Costume exhibit at Wilshire May Company Building in Los Angeles, the 36-year-old "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress was asked if she would be dressing up for the upcoming Halloween.

The Dominican-American actress reportedly looked down, rubbed her baby bump a little bit and answered, "I might. I might need three costumes. I might have to make some adjustments, but it would be nice."

Saldana then quipped that she may don a bride costume."It would be a shotgun wedding," she laughed.

But even before Saldana made the confirmation, her friend and former "Crossroads" co-star Britney Spears let the exciting news slip first.

When Entertainment Tonight asked the 32-year-old "Baby One More Time" hitmaker in September if she and Saldana would ever film another movie together, Spears, answered, "Who knows? That's a very good idea. But she's pregnant with twins right now. So I'm sure she's got a huge future ahead of her."

Saldana, who looked cute in a pink Christian Dior trapeze dress at the Hollywood Costume exhibit, encouraged other expectant women to make a conscious effort to stay gorgeous during pregnancy even if that means covering a few symptoms.

"Wear what feels comfortable. But whatever it is you're feeling internally, doesn't mean that you have to look it," she told People. "If you're having morning sickness, please don't dress like a 'morning sick' person. Make an effort and look beautiful because it's a beautiful time."

Saldana, who secretly married the 36-year-old artist Perego in June 2013, told Cosmo for Latinas that she will teach her children to be bilingual.

"Of course [our children] will speak the languages that we speak," she told the mag in its September issue. "My sisters and I grew up learning French and speaking English and Spanish, and because of that, we're able to understand Italian and Portuguese. But I'm going to have to make a conscious effort to speak Spanish to my children, because I speak Spanglish."
