Zoe Saldana has been making headlines lately for her baby bump and new flick "Guardians of the Galaxy." On "Watch What Happens Live," the "Crossroads" actress defended co-star Britney Spears. Find out what she had to say!

"She was the one big, big celebrity that I met when I was starting to work in Hollywood who literally was humble," Saldana told host Andy Cohen.

"I do believe that people and children gravitate to good energy, and she's definitely an abundance of that."

The actress was asked about Spears' leaked track "Alien," which did not sound pleasant without auto-tune.

"That's mean," Saldana stated. "I'm pretty sure that 80 percent of our musical artists would be mortified if they were caught singing without auto-tune."

"She was the only pop star at that time - and I can name a lot of prominent figures right now that today are more famous than Britney - that literally got to where they were at by hating on Britney a lot," she continued. "Because it was cool at one time to really just diss her. And Britney never did that."

"Crossroads" also stars "Orange is the New Black" actress Taryn Manning, and grossed $61.1 million worldwide though received negative reviews. It was written by Shonda Rhimes, who works on "Scandal" and "Grey's Anatomy."

Spears is currently holding residency at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Vegas, which she lip syncs, and is expected to make $30 million. Her manager Adam Leber once insisted the "Piece of Me" songstress sings live the whole show, but went back on his claims in June.

"To put on the show that she puts on, it's virtually impossible to sing the entire time and do what she does," he told Medium.com. "She's singing on every song, basically, when she has the ability to sing. There's no way you can dance for 90 minutes straight and sing the entire time."

We think it is great that Saldana defended Spears! Do you agree? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
