FKA Twigs is the latest victim of some of the harshest racist comments ever made on Twitter.

Twigs, who is currently in a relationship with "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson, has been receiving hateful tweets from the actors fans, according to Billboard.

The "Pendulum" singer slammed haters on Sunday via Twitter and wrote, "I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week. Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it's unacceptable online."

In a previous interview with Dazed & Confused, the 26-year-old artist revealed that she was always slammed with racist remarks growing up.

"People said horrible things about something I had no control of, which was tough. I never really saw anything wrong with how I looked, it was more that certain people pointed things out to you about yourself. Either your hair's different, or the color of your skin, or your features," she explained at that time.

Talking about the possibility of fame affecting her music, Twigs explained, "Within my privacy is where I find my creativity, so if too much of that goes, I'm done. No more talks. If I lose too much privacy, that's it: I'm gone. I would still want to create, but I'd just create quietly."

"Half of my life I've had people staring at me because they thing I'm funny-looking and ugly. The other half of my life I've had people staring at me because they think I'm fascinating," Twigs tweeted

Some haters have been posting tweets like, "You're like a monkey, really I can't believe that rob kissed you."

Another person tweeted, "I can't believe I have changed Robert Goddess Kristen for this monkey."

Meanwhile, despite the hurtful comments she's been getting on Twitter, Twigs and Pattinson are keeping their relationship strong as ever, the Daily Mail reported.

On Monday, the two were spotted on a romantic drive through Hollywood. A source close to the couple also confirmed that they are officially an item, even though Pattinson and Twigs have not admitted anything, E! News noted.

"They have great chemisty. Rob really likes her," the source said.
