"Pride and Prejudice and Zombies" has added Charles Dance and Lena Headey to its already-strong roster of actors, Deadline reported.

Dance and Headey, who play Tywin and Cersei Lannister, respectively, on the hit HBO fantasy drama series "Game of Thrones," join previously announced cast members Lily James ("Downton Abbey"), Sam Riley ("Maleficent"), Bella Heathcoate ("Dark Shadows"), Jack Huston ("Boardwalk Empire"), Douglas Booth ("Noah"), Matt Smith ("Doctor Who") and Suki Waterhouse ("Insurgent").

James will play the female lead role, Elizabeth Bennett, in the film adaptation of the 2009 parody novel by Seth Grahame-Smith of the same name, which combines Jane Austen's classic 1813 novel "Pride and Prejudice" with elements of modern zombie fiction.  James will star opposite Riley as Mr. Darcy while the other cast members are in supporting roles, AceShowbiz reported.

In the book, "Bennett is pressured by her family to marry into a wealthy upper-class home and chafes at the stiff societal ways of 1800s England. Instead, she feels that she should help defend the countryside against the onslaught of a horrifying zombie plague," according to Broadway World.

The project, which has been in development for half a decade, will begin shooting this week with Burr Steers on the director's chair. David O. Russell wrote the screenplay and Steers improved it.

Allison Shearmur, Sean McKittrick, Natalie Portman, Annette Savitch, Marc Butan, Brian Oliver and Tyler Thompson are producing the film, while Lauren Selig, Aleen Keshishian, Ted Hamm and Sue Baden Powell are exec producing.

Meanwhile, Screen Gems has just closed a deal for the film's U.S. distribution rights, while Sony Pictures Worldwide will distribute the movie in Latin America, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe and Iceland.

Dance, 67, will next appear on the big screen in "Child 44," "Despite the Falling Snow,"  "Woman in Gold," "Michiel de Ruyter," and "Deadline Gallipoli."

Headey, 40, on the other hand, will star in films "Zipper" and "Jacqueline Ess." She is also part of the voice cast of "Reds and Grays" and will reprise her role as Jocelyn Fray in "The Mortal Instruments: City of Ashes."
