Norman Reedus, who plays Daryl on "The Walking Dead," was part of the show's panel at Fan Expo Canada held at Metro Toronto Convention Centre late last month, and since questions regarding the upcoming fifth season of the hit zombie drama were not allowed, fans took the opportunity to ask the actor about his crossbow shooting practice, what he thinks about Daryl and Beth pairing, and his character's sexual orientation.

The 45-year-old hunky actor revealed that he practices crossbow shooting regularly in order to make his portrayal of Daryl more believable. But the sexy thing about his training is that he practices only in his underwear!

"I'd wake up every morning and I'd make a coffee and I'd walk downstairs to the woods, where I live, with a compound bow and in my tighty-whitey underwear," Reedus said, according to Comic Book Resources. "I had targets set up on my trees. I'd have a coffee and I'd shoot the targets. Sometimes I'd miss and they'd stick in the trees... All the trees around the back of my house have arrows sticking out of them."

"The Boondock Saints" actor also opened up about the unlikely yet interesting pairing between his character and Emily Kinney's Beth.

"It's exciting to work with Emily [Kinney]," Reedus said. "She's such a good actress. She's a musician. She's a listener. She's a performer. Everything she says is so honest. You wouldn't normally pair those two up, so it was really interesting. We were high-fiving before every take. It was a good bonding moment for the two of us."

"That scene on the porch, listening to her tell stories and give that speech - I didn't have anything to do. I just had to listen to her - she was so good at that," added Reedus, referring to a scene in the Daryl and Beth-centric episode from last season.

And of course, there was someone who asked Reedus about Daryl's sexual orientation, but the actor just said: "I can't answer those questions, but it's interesting."

"It was on Howard Stern the other day," shared the Hollywood, Florida-born actor about rumors regarding his character's sexual orientation. "They go, 'The big news is that Daryl might be gay.' Then Howard goes, 'Yeah, you know, I think so, because he was in that house with that pretty blonde girl. All he did was pee in the corner.'"

Early last month, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman was asked if the possibility of Daryl being gay had been considered, and he openly answered that "it has been discussed," Comicbook.com reported.

But in a more recent interview with TVLine, showrunner Scott M. Gimple said that Daryl's sexuality "is not really addressed" next season, which totally makes sense since the show's upcoming installment is expected to be a lot more action-packed, considering Daryl and the whole gang are heading to Washington D.C. to find a cure to the zombie apocalypse.

"The Walking Dead" Season 5 premieres Oct. 12 at 9:00 p.m. on AMC.
