Veteran singer Cher is being sued by her Dressed to Kill tour choreographer for racial discrimination and retaliation, according to gossip website TMZ.

In a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Kevin Wilson said that Cher, whose real name is Cherilyn Sarkisian, was auditioning dancers for her tour when the choreographer told her particularly liked "a minority dancer."

"We have too much color," the singer, 68, allegedly responded, according to the lawsuit.

Cher's legal representatives have denied the claims, telling TMZ that these are "ridiculous allegations and can't be further from the truth."

Wilson also claims in the lawsuit, filed by lawyer Perry Wander, that the singer asked him to find a white, blonde dancer. Cher allegedly told him "not to cast any more dark-skinned, black dancers on the tour."

The singer's lawyers said the alleged comments were "untrue and categorically denied. They also said that "attributing such a statement to Cher is absurd.

The gossip website also mentions a part of the lawsuit that refers to an incident involving one of Cher's dancers and a female fan.

According to the complaint, the male dancer invited the fan to his hotel room after a show in Louisville in June. The lawsuit alleges that the dancer became sexually aggressive toward the woman.

When Cher learned about the incident, she is said to have tried to conceal it from the public. However, three other dancers, including Wilson, spoke out.

Wilson, who is black, claims in the lawsuit that Cher fired the three of them as a consequence and retained the allegedly erring dancer.

The choreographer says in the complaint that the three of them were they told were fired due to a diminished budget. They didn't believe it, citing the success of the tour, which reportedly grossed $54.9 and that Cher's Bob Mackie costumes cost $100,000 each.
