Ariana Grande has recently been accused of being a diva after she was reported to have abruptly cancelled a photo shoot last week for an Australian newspaper when photographers refused to comply with her strict list of specific demands, News.com.au reported. Now, E! host Giuliana Rancic opened up about the "Bang Bang" singer's diva tendencies.

"I think that where there's smoke there's fire," Giuliana said during her appearance on E! News, according to Entertainmentwise. "I think she does have a little bit of a diva thing going on. I don't know if that's just part of the image she wants out there, like 'I'm a young Mariah [Carey], I'm a diva."

The 40-year-old "Fashion Police" co-host then shared a very telling story of her encounter with Grande on the red carpet: "I think it was at the AMAs, she came up on the platform, and normally I stand on this side [her left side] to the camera - I had to fight 13 years to get this side to the camera, it's my good side, but I fought 13 years for this, OK?" according to Bustle.

She continued: "Little Ariana comes over, I feel like 'bing,' elbow in my side, I'm like 'what's going on?' and they push me to the other side. So I had to be on my ugly side."

"I felt like it's one thing if it's Mariah, you know - I'll get on any side, I'll bend down, I'll climb a ladder, whatever it takes to get Mariah to do an interview," she said. "But when you're new on the block, when you're trying to earn your stripes, you're young, you just gotta do what you gotta do, try to get a great reputation, try to go overboard to please people."

The "My Everything" hitmaker previously denied reports that she was a diva to an Australian radio station.

"All these ridiculous untrue things about me and I'm just like, you know what, that's not real, that's nonsense, my fans know who I am, my family knows who I am, my friends know who I am and that's all that matters," she said according to Daily Mail.
