Nicki Minaj performed her hit song "Anaconda" at Fashion Rocks at Barclay's Center in Brooklyn Tuesday, Sept. 9. But after the performance, fans of the 31-year-old rapper took to social media to express their disappointment at not being able to see the entire number of the curvaceous star after CBS' cameras kept panning out into the crowd during the song's second verse, Music Times reported.

Minaj was quick to address the issue. First, she called out the network on Twitter for focusing on the crowd, instead of showing what was going on on stage. "Barbz, I'm sorry about those angles. They told us they'd go wide, never mentioned they'd shoot the audience instead. Big learning experience," she wrote on the microblogging site.

Then the "Bang Bang" rapper shared a lengthy Instagram post, explaining in detail how CBS cut shots of the choreography during the second verse of her song.

"My darlingz, I wish you could've seen the choreography on the 2nd verse of ANACONDA last night. It was absolutely divine. CBS decided not to show it. Had they told us this before, we would have changed the choreo so that you guys could see the full performance from beginning to end. They already had you tuned in tho," she wrote.

"Artists spend so much of their own money, time and passion to deliver their fans great performances. But ultimately, our art usually falls into the hands of people who care nothing about our art and creativity. Promise you'll get to see this new choreo soon," added the Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago-born recording artist, along with a photo of her during the actual performance.

Minaj's number was full of "booty poppin and droppin" and the limber chair routine was also shown. But the second verse's routine was too sexy for CBS. At one point during the performance, Minaj laid on the floor and "little is left to the imagination," according to Los Angeles Times.

Before Minaj's actual performance, the rapper reportedly threw a diva when she learned she could not rehearse multiple times before the event kicked off.

"She was acting completely out of control, and threatened to walk off the show," a source told Radar Online. "The CBS executives told her she was being inappropriate, and that she should leave. They were planning to have Kiss perform two extra songs to cover Nicki's time slot."

Apparently, a truce was made, and her performance was continued as planned.
