Miley Cyrus has officially launched her art display collection called "Dirty Hippie" at the New York Fashion Week show on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old singer's work includes a range of colorful beaded jewelries made out of children's alphabets, some toys and other colorful items.

Cyrus recently collaborated with Jeremy Scott whose show took place on Wednesday at a gallery in downtown Manhattan, according to Kansas City.

Prior to the launch of her collection, Cyrus admitted that focusing her energy on her art work is so much better than just sitting around and smoking weed all day, Just Jared reported.

In an interview with V Magazine, the "Wrecking Ball" songstress said, "I just sit around and smoke weed anyway, so I might as well sit around, smoke weed and do something. And this is me doing something. I love it. I mean, I'm up until seven in the morning doing this stuff all the time. It was much weirder when I started doing it while I was sober."

After the successful show, Scott called Cyrus to the stage and she was photographed wearing her most colorful ensemble yet.

Talking about how the collaboration came to be, Scott shared, "We live really close to each other in LA, and she had a little party and I came over. And she started showing me these things she was making, and I said, 'Wow, this kind of looks like my collection - it's colorful and stream-of-consciousness and everything just kind of goes and somehow works. I was like, 'Oh my god this looks so cool, would you think about doing something?' And she said, 'Absolutely!'"

Meanwhile, besides from her art collection, a source close to Cyrus dished that the singer is also being kept busy by her ex-fiance Liam Hemsworth.

The estranged couple is still hanging out and have always stayed in touch, E! News noted.

"They are not likely to reconcile. They have moved on but are still friends. They still care about each other but it's not romantic," the source said.
