One Direction has recently been bombarded with breakup rumors with several sources claiming that the group is close to being disbanded and the tension among them is at an all time high. But now two of them have admitted that they do not think they can manage being a solo artist.

The One Direction boys Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik appeared at a press conference Tuesday, Sept. 9 - one day after they announced the name and the cover art of their highly anticipated fourth album "Four" and released one of its tracks "Fireproof" for free download on their official website, UnrealityTV reported.

When asked by Hollywood Life what the best part about being in a band as compared to being a solo artist was, Tomlinson, 22 was quick to offer an answer.

"Just having each of us, let's be honest I personally don't think I'd be able to do it as a solo artist. It's very intense and hard to comprehend, so it's good to be able to speak to people who obviously know exactly what you personally are going through," Tomlinson said.

"Yeah and it's nice to have somebody there every day who's going through exactly the same stuff you are. It's beautiful being in this position but it's also difficult at times. It's nice to have guys you can turn to," added Payne, 21.

Styles, 20, who recently sparked speculations that he will be leaving the band after being spotted hitting the studio solo, was "suspiciously quiet" during the interview, according to UnrealityTV.

The curly haired hunky heartthrob has reportedly been tipped for a huge career in Hollywood with Harvey Weinstein saying: "He's got that swashbuckling charm. Definite star potential. I think he'd be great. No question," according to Entertainmentwise.

But since their new album will not be released until Nov.17, fans don't need to worry about anyone exiting the group to start their solo career.
