One Direction have found their way into "Guinness World Records 2015."

The English-Irish boy band set a new world record after their first three albums debuted at number one in the US. They are the only music group in the UK to top the U.S. chart with their first three album releases.

They share the good news to their fans on stage at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey last month, according to Digital Spy. "This really is one of our proudest moments, both for us and our incredible fans. Whenever we talk about it we always say how cool it is that we did it first, how sick is that?!" said member Niall Horan.

One Direction, which is made up of Horan, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson, first topped the U.S. chart in 2012 with their debut album "Up All Night," which was first released in November 2011. The group then scored their second number one later in the same year with their follow-up album "Take Me Home," released in November 2012. Their third and latest studio album "Midnight Memories," which was released November 2013, rocketed to the top of the Billboard 200 last December, and were able to sell one million copies in just five weeks, according to Digital Spy.

Aside from One Direction, 'Guinness World Records 2015' also listed Metallica for being the first rock band to perform on all seven continents; Eminem for making the wordiest hit single -"Rap God"; Miley Cyrus as the most searched-for pop star on the Internet; and Katy Perry as the musician with the most number of Twitter followers, The New York Post reported.

Meanwhile, One Direction has recently released the extended trailer for their upcoming "Where We Are" concert film.

In the short trailer, the band is shown backstage before hitting the stage.

"This is definitely the biggest tour we've ever done, playing in stadiums all over the world," Horan said.

"I think we're very lucky with our fans, that they take the pressure off us a bit," Tomlinson said about their followers. "It kind of feels like they've got you're backs."

"They're amazing," Styles added.

"Where We Are" concert film will be shown for just one weekend on Oct. 11 and 12. There will be more than 10,000 screenings over 50 countries on over 3000 screens worldwide, making it "the biggest global 'event cinema' release ever," said event cinema distributor Arts Alliance in a statement last July, according to Variety.

Aside from the live concert itself, the movie will also include never-before-seen 15-minute interview cut with exclusive behind the scenes footage. "Where We Are" was recorded at San Siro soccer stadium in Milan during the Italian leg of the group's 69-date "Where We Are" global tour, which is still ongoing.
