Michael Douglas and Orlando Bloom have both been tapped to join the cast of thriller film "Unlocked," alongside Noomi Rapace.

The film will be produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Georgina Townsley and Erik Howsam. Silver Reel will help in financing the film that will start shooting this coming November 3, according to UPI.

Silver Reel has financed 22 projects since 2009 including "Under the Skin," "The Railway Man" and "A Hologram for a King."

Di Bonaventure was the company that produced "Transformers: Age of Extinction." The film's script will be written by Peter O'Brien.

"Unlocked" follows the life of CIA officer, played by Rapace, who rushes to stop an attack.

Alex Walton and Ken Kao's Bloom represented the international rights and the pre-selling of the film to foreign buyers at the Toronto International Film Festival, the Hollywood Reporter noted.

"I am delighted to introduce this fresh, smart European thriller to buyers in Toronto. With three major studio movies in production, Noomi Rapace is becoming one of the hottest female international stars working today. When you add Michael Apted, Michael Douglas and Orlando Bloom, you have a commercial package that I am confident will draw strong interest," Walton said.

In the meantime, Bloom is busy with her previous engagement as he is set to star in "The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies."

Douglas was recently seen in the film "And So It Goes" and is currently filming "Ant-Man." Rapace currently stars in the cine-drama "The Drop" which was also screed at the Toronto International Festival on Saturday, Variety reported.

Douglas, who is represented by UTA is currently in Toronto for the world premiere of his film "The Reach," where he stars opposite Jeremy Irvine, who was part of the film "War Horse."

Bloom, meanwhile, is represented by CAA and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Raprace is represented by CAA and Magnolia Entertainment, Variety confirmed.
