Catherine Zeta-Jones may not have any intention of ending her marriage from Academy Award-winning actor Michael Douglas but she surely has a plan to make some money out of her luxurious Bedford, New York Country home.

As though proudly moving on from her marital woes, the clinically diagnosed bipolar Welsh actress has reportedly listed her spacious haven - where she stayed to find refuge during the trying times of her relationship with Douglas - on the market for $8.1 million, Forbes first reported.

The grand country-themed mansion houses 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and also boasts lavish amenities and facilities including a sauna, a fully-equipped gym, a gourmet kitchen and a master closet room for shoes.

Zeta-Jones New York home is well-adorned with classic elements reminiscent of the 1920s and the 1930s, and it is even described as the perfect sanctuary for entertainment and family living.

The 6,600 square-foot estate was bought by the "Chicago" star in 2010 for $5 million, after renting it for nearly 6 months, and had it remodeled in 2013.

Catherine and Michael tied the knot in 2000, but in August last year, the A-list couple shocked their fans when they announced a trial separation amid the health issues they faced - Zeta-Jones was diagnosed with bipolar disorder while Douglas was diagnosed with throat cancer, which was later discovered to be a misdiagnosed case of tongue cancer.

During their trial separation, Zeta-Jones stayed at the 5-acre gated grounds of her Bedford mansion, which is surrounded by horse farms on three sides.

Earlier this year, the Hollywood celebs reconciled and it appears that their marriage is back on track, according to SFGate.

While Zeta-Jones and Douglas' marriage seem to be having a smooth sailing, the 69-year-old "Behind The Candelabra" actor's ex-wife, Diandra Luker, slammed the 44-year-old "Mask of Zorro" actress when she was asked if the rumors that Catherine is attempting to buy her half share of the Spanish villa she proudly co-owns with Michael were true.

"Why would someone who doesn't speak Spanish or the local Majorcan language or knows nothing about this culture want a house here? She doesn't even come here much," Luker said of Zeta-Jones at the time, Daily Mail has learned.

The 56-year-old further attacked Zeta-Jones and her husband when she was asked why she's "less visible" than the A-list couple on the Spanish resort.

"That's because I don' t believe in showing off. I've never sold photos or kept money from anything and I've always given everything away to charity," she explained. "I'm proud to be able to say that I've never turned my private life into showbusiness... Too much public exposure affects children."
