Police has warned Justin Bieber not to drive his Can-Am Spyder on the sidewalk ever again.
The 20-year-old Canadian pop star was caught in a video driving his red three-wheeled motorcycle into Beverly Hills Thursday, Aug. 21. And when the traffic became too heavy, the "As Long As You Love Me" hitmaker maneuvered his big toy onto the sidewalk almost hitting a pedestrian, TMZ reported.
In the footage obtained by the celebrity gossip website, Bieber, who is believed to have rekindled his on-off romance with Selena Gomez again, merged off the sidewalk at an intersection, and came close to crashing into an elderly woman with a walker.
But Bieber did not seem to care, because just a few moments after that, he was seen rocking out to music while waiting for a stoplight to turn green.
The Beverly Hills Police Department told E! News that maneuvering a vehicle onto the sidewalk is a form of reckless driving and is in fact a "vehicle code violation, which is an infraction."
"We highly encourage Mr. Bieber to stay off the sidewalk and remain in traffic," said a spokesperson for the police department. "This is incredibly unsafe. He's putting other people's safety in jeopardy."
Good thing, Bieber was not seen and arrested by the police at the time, as he is currently in probation for two years on the charges that, earlier this year, he allegedly egged a neighbor's house in Calabasas, California, according to The Guardian Liberty Voice. As part of his sentence, he was ordered to attend anger management classes for 12 weeks and take part in five days of community service.
On Aug. 13, Bieber also made a plea deal to avoid jail time for his DUI arrest stemming from the drag-racing incident in Miami back in January, Us Weekly reported. The singer did not appear in court as his legal team entered a guilty plea to careless driving and resisting an officer without violence, allowing him to glide from the more serious DUI charge.
