Ken Jeong's upcoming film project involves plotting to kill "Baywatch" star David Hasselhoff, Deadline has learned.

Currently dubbed as the "Untitled Celebrity Death Pool," the "Hangover" star will portray a sleazy owner of a struggling nightclub. Due to his financial troubles, Jeong's character falls deep in debt to a local loan shark.

In order to settle his problems, he decides to join an underground and long-running celebrity death pool. Basically, the mechanics of the contest involves killing a famous celebrity.

He then travels to California and sets his eyes on Hasselhoff in an attempt to win the death pool.

Along with Jeong, Hasselhoff has officially signed on to portray a fictionalized version of himself for the movie. Aside from his acting duties, Hasselhoff will co-produce the film along with "The Expendables 3" producer Patrick Hughes and Warren Zide of the "American Pie" film series.

Retired professional wrestler Hulk Hogan will join Jeong and Hasselhof in "Untitled Celebrity Death Pool."

Given the title of the project, movie fans can expect to see other celebrities make cameo appearances in the film. However, there are no official reports yet regarding who will sign on for the project, Cinema Blend reported.

The film will be helmed by Darren Grant, the director behind 2005's "Diary of a Mad Black Woman" starring Tyler Perry.

Before working for the film industry, Grant was an accomplished music video director. He made videos for various artists such as Destiny's Child, Vanessa Hudgens, Craig David and Boyz II Men.

The film will be produced by WWE Studios and Hyde Park Entertainment. The studio's president, Michael Luisi, will personally oversee the project.

"Untitled Celebrity Death Pool" marks the second project between the two entertainment companies. The two are currently working on the film remake of the 1980s television show "The Fall Guy." For the film version, the companies are eyeing Dwayne Johnson to take on the lead role, according to Variety.

Key persons involved in "Untitled Celebrity Death Pool" have not yet given an official release date for the film.
