The Houghs are taking over ABC! We told you last week "Dancing with the Stars" pro Derek Hough landed a guest role on "Nashville," and a new report claims his sis Julianne Hough is in talks to become a judge on the long-running, dance competition series!

According to TMZ, Julianne is close to inking a deal with ABC to become the fourth judge, joining Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba, and Bruno Tonioli. The blonde beauty will continue to pursue her acting career, as the gig only takes up a few hours per week.

Ryan Seacrest's ex girlfriend was a guest judge on season 17 and 18. She came under fire for criticizing Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Danica McKellar's performance. She was last a pro on the series in 2009.

Julianne's movie credits include "Footloose," "Burlesque," "Rock of Ages," and "Safe Haven."

Derek shared his "Nashville" news on Twitter last week, retweeting a message from the show's writers.

"So excited for @derekhough from @DancingABC to be joining our fantastic cast! Get pumped, #Nashies!! #ABClove," it read.

Deadline reports Hough will play 20-something actor Noah West, is tapped to portray a country artist in a biopic. He will appear in a multi-episode arc, and is also set to return for season 19 of "Dancing with the Stars."

The network requires the hunky blonde to play a "beguiling and disarming" guy.

"Nashville" returns September 24, and Hough will appear in the series starting October.

Derek won five seasons of "DWTS," and won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Choreography in 2013. He acted in a London stage production of "Footloose: The Musical" and independent dance film "Make Your Move."
