Finally, some good news for Mrs. Carter! Beyoncé will receive the Vanguard award this year at the 2014 MTV Music Awards! The "Drunk in Love" songstress was nominated in eight categories, and will also perform at the event.

Queen Bey is also up for Video of the Year, Best Female, Best Collaboration, Best Video with a Social Message, Best Cinematography, Best Editing, Best Choreography, and Best Direction.

She already holds 11 VMAS, including Video of the Year for "Single Ladies" and Best Female for "Crazy in Love."

Other nominees include Eminem, Iggy Azalea, and Miley Cyrus, in addition to Ariana Grande and Pharrell Williams.

This year's VMAs will take place August 24 at the Forum in Inglewood.

Beyoncé has been making headlines lately for trouble in paradise with Hov. She has been hinting at cheating throughout their "On The Run" tour, and it's rumored they are staying in separate hotel rooms. The "Flawless" singer was even spotted looking for apartments without her other half.

"They're not just staying in different hotel rooms, but they have booked separate hotels, and they arrive separately to each show," an insider revealed to Page Six. "This may not make it to San Francisco. I'm definitely not sure that they'll make it to Paris."

She has been known to change lyrics around to send cryptic messages to fans. Bey even addressed THAT elevator incident with Jay and her sister Solange Knowles.

The songstress changed the "Flawless" lyrics to sing "We escalate, up in this b--ch like elevators. Of course sometimes sh-t go down when it's a billion dollars on the elevator."

She repeated a second time to ensure the audience heard, laughed and added a "cha-ching" at the end. The incident occurred after a Met Gala party in May at the Standard Hotel in New York. A rep for a family released a statement after the incident.
