Nicki Minaj opened up to The Fader about the price of fame, and a scary experience she recently endured. Keep reading to find out what she said!

"The other day, I really thought I was about to die... And I didn't call the ambulance, because I thought, 'Well, if I call the ambulance, it's going to be on TMZ,"' She said during her acceptance speech at the BET Network Gala.

She did not further describe the incident this time, but spoke about the price of fame.

"I was making a point to say that the business kills so many people and we don't even realize it," she explained.

"I can only imagine how many people in this business have died because they may not have wanted to... to be embarrassed publicly. We care so much about what the world thinks that we don't live, really."

When asked about what she spoke of at the show last month, Minaj replied, "I don't want to talk about it."

The "Starships" singer teased her video for her Instagram followers, captioned, "Check out the WORLD PREMIERE video snippet of Anaconda. Now on iTunes!!! #AnacondaOniTunes Official."

The hip-hop diva was recently rumored to be feuding with Iggy Azalea.

"What I want the world to know about Nicki Minaj is when you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it," she said in her BET Awards acceptance speech, causing much speculation she was throwing shade at the "Fancy" songstress.

She quickly blasted those rumors on social media.

"The media puts words in my mouth all the time and this is no different. I will always take a stance on women writing b/c I believe in us!" Minaj tweeted.

"I believe we're smart enough to write down our own thoughts and perspective, just like the men do. I've been saying this for 5 YEARS."

She then added, "I've congratulated Iggy on the success of Fancy, publicly. She should be very proud of that. All the women nominated should b proud."
