Although Lucy Hale looks sexier than ever wearing a cleavage flaunting little black dress on the cover on Cosmopolitan's September 2014 issue, her dad isn't too happy abut the suggestive phrase next to his daughter.

According to E! News, while the text on the cover promises to reveal how the "Pretty Little Liars" season 5 cast member "is breaking the cycle of insecurity," the phrase "Best. Sex. Ever. #HellYeah!" appears in a much larger font next to the starlet.

The ABC Family star decided to screenshot her conversation with her father over her latest magazine cover. In the Instagram photo her dad's text read, "Saw your pic on Cosmo, you look wonderful. Not to crazy about the articles beside your photo. Love u."

Lucy Hale replied, "hahaha thanks daddy. I love you."

The "Lie a Little Better" singer also took to Instagram to post a picture of herself holding the issue in one hand with the caption, "Sorry for the captions dad."

The 25-year-old actress is also known for promoting a positive body image for young girls. In the past she has shared that she suffered from an eating disorder but is doing much better.

Hale admitted that her physical appearance on the ABC Family show can confuse viewers and their opinions of what beauty really is.

She explained, "[Pretty Little Liars] is about how we look, too. That's terrifying sometimes because you're breaking out or you feel gross and you still have to be in front of the camera."

She added, "We'll post pictures on Instagram and people will be like, 'Y'all are so flawless.' Little do they know it's fake hair, fake eyelashes and a good filter. Little girls see that and think they have to be like that."

Lucy Hale confessed that it was distorted images like that which made it hard for her to launch her country music career.

The brunette beauty explained, "So many people didn't want to touch the project with a 10-foot pole. Literally, I had people laughing and saying, 'You're making an album? Good luck."

She continued, "But if you sit down and talk music with me for 10 minutes, you know that's my passion."
