It looks like Prince William likes to enjoy some tunes when he is spending time with his son Prince George. Kate Middleton's husband recently revealed that one of his early morning routines consists of listening to a certain radio show with his little guy.
According to Us Weekly, on Wednesday, July 9th, it was revealed that the 32-year-old told BBC Radio 1's Gemma Cairney that he listens to her show which airs from 4 to 6:30 a.m. London time.
Cairney, 29, said, "William told me he listens to the show," adding, "He said, 'Sometimes when I'm up with George, I have a listen.'" The radio host confessed, "I was very flattered."
She went on to reveal that she even made an exclusive playlist for the Duke of Cambridge. She told her listeners, "If you've ever wondered what Prince Willy gets down to when he's chilling out with his lovely lady and George, he's either listening to Radio 1 or one of these guys," adding, "He told me about these artists."
Calling the mix the "Prince Willy mini-mix," Cairney composed an "eclectic" list of music that included Dirty Vegas' "Days Go By," Linkin Park's "Numb," and Prince's "When Doves Cry."
Vanity Fair recently published a spread with details from palace insiders who dished about Prince George's first months following his birth.
When speaking of Prince William's son's time outside the palace an insider said, "Kate expressed relief that George behaved well during his first few public appearances."
The source went on, "...For the first few months the prince cried loudly and frequently, and he was not sleeping through the night. Nanny Jessie Webb tried hard to get him into a routine, but the baby prince, who was still breastfeeding, was permanently hungry."
The insider revealed that it was "only in the new year when Kate introduced solids, that George finally slept through the night."
However, it is clear that he gets an early morning start.
