Kanye West was booed off the stage for ranting at the UK's Wireless Festival, and Stacey Dash was not impressed that he compared paparazzi intrusion to rape. The new Fox News correspondent had some choice words for the rapper during an appearance on "Outnumbered."
"For Kanye to say rape, maybe he needs to spend some time on Rikers Island... Go to Rikers for a little while and then he'll know what rape is," the "Clueless" star said.
"I don't get celebrities not understanding that the paparazzi are doing their job."
West paused his performance to start a 20 minute rant about his family's life in the spotlight.
"I don't care what you do in life, everybody needs a day off, everybody has the right to say, 'You know what, I need a minute to breathe,'" the rapper began.
"I want to bring my family to the movies without 30 motherf*****s following me. Everybody here, they like sex right? Sex is great when you and your partner are like, 'Hey, this is what we both want to do.'"
"But if one of those people don't want to do that, what is that called? That's called rape. That is called violation."
He continued, "So if I walk around and say look sir, I'm not feeling so good today, I need some space, can you please not f*** with me today? I need cut-off space, not violation."
West is not the first one to make tasteless comments about the press. Charlize Theron came under fire for similar comments on Sky News.
"I don't do that, so that's my saving grace," the actress said about Googling herself. "When you start living in that world, and doing that, you start, I guess, feeling raped."
Do you agree with Dash, or did she also take it too far? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
