Contrary to reports that Miley Cyrus has been dating Mike Will Made-It for the last nine months, the queen of twerk is not dating anyone at the moment.

"Everybody in her circle knows they've been together this whole time," a source told Us Weekly.

They went on to add they have become "pretty serious" and Cyrus' mother Tish calls him "part of the family." When the two are apart they allegedly "talk and text all day, every day," to make things work.

Another source notes the pair were smitten at a BET Awards party in June, and he was the apple of her eye at her album release party in October.

However, sources told E! News they are not a couple and the former Disney star is single.

Relationship rumors have surrounded these two since September 2013, around the time Cyrus called it quits with fiancé Liam Hemsworth. She also appeared in Mike's music video for single "23."

"They have been spending a lot of time together because they are working so closely together on [Miley's] album," Mike's rep said at the time.

Cyrus opened up about her newfound single life to Ellen DeGeneres in October.

"I want to be really clear and determined with everything I'm doing in my life right now, and I have been," the "We Can't Stop" singer explained.

"I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been and that's not even a dig. That's just me, because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are."

She then added, "I've never been able to just be alone, and I'm obsessed with being alone and like hearing my thoughts."
