Love It or Leave It: Rihanna's Shoulder-Length Retro Bob

Guess what beauty junkies? Rihanna has changed her hair once again! This time around, the singer chose a simple shoulder-length retro bob, which she debuted in New York City and on Instagram this week.

If you're like us at BWN, we are always floored by RiRi's style moves. The pop diva has already rocked a mulletshaved head and short curls this year, not to mention coloring her hair grey in July. Wow, it's so hard to keep up with the Bajan beauty!

But, dare we say, Rihanna's current chin-length 'do is playing it safe.

The singer, who loves to rock both her signature RiRi Woo red pout and blue lipstick, has made a very normal mane move.  Ri's longtime hairstylist, Ursula Stephen, who was behind the songbird's super-popular asymmetrical bob in 2007, worked her magic again. For the style, Rihanna went with fringe bangs for a shaggy appeal. The self-confessed bad girl also had some layers added for thickness, making her hair look fuller. Her new short cut is a tamer change and switch-up from her recent envelope-pushing rat-tail coif, which she wore in her latest music video for the single, "What Now."

We think RiRi proves that the bob is a headline-making hairstyle, which is universally flattering. The "Diamonds" songstress has shown us various ways to rock the cut, from a version with stick-straight bangs, to adding color to the chop, to a piecey rendition with blunt face-framing strands. But we love her new 'do over!

And considering that the "Pour It Up" performer paired her new hair with a skintight velvet bodysuit and thigh-high boots while in NYC, she definitely knows how to bring the sexy.
