Kristen Stewart Trying to Reconnect with Rupert Sanders?

Kristen Stewart seems to be going all out to ease her pain after breaking up with boyfriend Robert Pattinson for the second time. Following the split, Stewart has reportedly reached out to director Rupert Sanders with whom she was seen getting cozy last year.

The director turned down her offer for mutual solace, reports digitalspy.co.uk. "Kristen was feeling low. The lowest she's ever felt, when Rob flew to Australia... so when he left, she reached out to Rupert to see if he was okay and suggested meeting for a coffee," a source told digitalspy.

The 22-year-old actress probably felt that her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director would understand and share her feelings considering he too is sailing in the same boat with his wife Liberty Ross filing for divorce.

Pattinson is currently shooting in Australia for his upcoming film "The Rover," and isn't exactly pleased with Stewart's step. Amid speculations that the couple might be having trouble staying together it has also emerged that the Briton has been ignoring Stewart's calls.

"It seemed like Kristen was just blindly trying to do something to ease her pain. When Rob found out she'd contacted Rupert through a mutual friend, he was upset that Kristen would even go there. He wasn't jealous, he was just incredulous. It seems like Kristen has no chance with him now," Heat magazine quoted a source.

While Stewart is trying to cope with the split, Sanders has his own battles to fight. Ross filed for divorce from the director January-end citing "irreconcilable differences." The couple  attended therapy sessions to save their marriage but Sanders' cheating scandal was probably too much to take for the model. Ross has also petitioned for joint physical and legal custody of the couple's children, Skyla, 8 and Tennyson, 6. She has also requested for spousal support and that Sanders pay her legal fees.
