'Real Housewives of Orange County' Star Vicki Gunvalson Laughs Off Cheating Rumors Between Her And On-Again, Off-Again Boyfriend Brooks Ayers

Vicki Gunvalson is not one to get depressed when her boyfriend has admitted to have cheated on her.

In a recent statement to People, the "Real Housewives of Orange County" star responded to the circulating rumors and speculations involving her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brooks Ayers' alleged cheating and admission.

"I was surprised to learn that a video of Brooks's meeting in Las Vegas a year ago has surfaced," the 52-year-old said.

"I was told that the story mentions Brooks dating other women," Gunvalson added. "Brooks can date anyone he wants to. I am not married to Brooks, nor engaged - nor are we living together."

It can be noted that in the alleged video of Ayers' admission to cheating that surfaced recently, Gunvalson's beau is said to have revealed that he has slept with other women.

Ayers allegedly met with a business associate to try to settle a lawsuit involving a vodka line. The latter reportedly filmed Ayers' admission in their conversation in a Las Vegas hotel.

The unnamed business affiliate told the National Enquirer that it was the RHOC star who asked him to record Ayer's confession.

"I recorded [Brooks] out of an abundance of caution, specifically at the request of Vicki Gunvalson," the associate was quoted saying. "She asked me to help Brooks. Given his background, I did not want this guy walking away making false claims about our time. Who knows what he would have said."

The "Real Housewives" star now claims that there is no truth in the associate's statements.

"The story is ridiculous and laughable when it states that I requested the video be shot. I did not," she said.

"In my own opinion, this video surfaced because the case for the vodka is moving toward trial. When the posture becomes personal, rather than business, that is generally a sign their argument about the business is weak," she added.

Finally, in an attempt to downplay the alleged circulating videotape, Gunvalson told Radar Online, "This is a desperate attempt to seek publicity in a case that is nearing trial."

"The case is about business partners choosing not to be in business together. The case has nothing to do with my personal life," she finally said.
